Two Bits in One
The innovative Stubben Steeltec 2 in 1 Snaffle Bit offers two levels of impact by simple switching thesides of the bit.
Buckle the round side towards the horses tongue you have a softer impact when you apply pressure. Alternately place themore angular side of the bit towards the horses tongue and you will have a somewhat stronger bit.
The bit has "+" sign that is visible when mounted. If the"+" is visible on the mounting side the stronger side of the bit is inuse. If you cannot see the "+" on the mounting side then the softer side is in use. If you change the bit from time to time you can prevent a desensitization of the horses mouth.
Benefits of Sweet Copper:
A sweet copper link offers better acceptance because it encourages the horse to chew thus enhances the saliva production. It has a massive copper composition (90 Copper 7 Iron + Aluminum No Nickel) with very high strength (stronger than Argentan). Horses feel good with a sweet copper link.
